Pauline Johnson-Brown

Over the course of her career in both fine art and real estate development, Pauline has advised collectors, heirs, fiduciaries, and estate representatives on matters involving the stewardship and disposition of significant assets.

Her work in the art field has included advising private collectors and families

with particular attention to the personal, cultural, and financial considerations that often accompany inherited collections and estate holdings.

Rather than building collections for clients, Pauline guides individuals and

families in making thoughtful decisions about the collections they own. She believes that successful stewardship begins with understanding the meaning a collection holds for its owner and future generations.

Known for discretion, integrity, and personal attention, she develops trusted relationships with her clients, taking time to understand their concerns and objectives before recommending a course of action.

Her advisory practice includes estate collections, inherited artworks, collection reviews, consignment strategy, and introductions to trusted specialists, galleries, and market professionals. Pauline has an extensive referral network in the United States and Europe.
